Aer Lingus February traffic statistics

Aer Lingus today published it's traffic figures for February 2009.

For the month, a total of 688,000 passengers were carried, a Year on Year (YoY) decrease of 8.4% over February 2008.

Short haul passenger numbers fell 8% to 620,000. This represents a load factor of 77.5%, up 5.4% YoY against a capacity reduction of 9.2%, YoY.

Long haul passenger numbers fell 11.7% to 68,000. This represents a load factor of 64.3%, up 4.2% YoY against a capacity reduction of 20.7%.

Total load factor was 72.0%, up 5.3% YoY.
