A320-214 registered CN-NMB was delivered from Shannon to Moroccan low cost carrier airarabia.com this evening. The aircraft is msn 3833 and was originally delivered to Air Berlin but never entered service with that carrier. Pictured above flight MAC 999 back tracks on R24 for departure. The hex code for CN-NMB is 020098. As usual the Shannon weather played a blinder with a heavy mass of cloud covering the airfield and Shannon Aerospace hangar north of the centreline for 30 minutes prior to the aircraft's departure. Three or four seconds before the aircraft rotated the cloud vanished to leave the entire airfield once again basking in unbroken sunshine. Doh !Posted 090501
