EI-DHO in birdstrike at City of Derry
Today's Ryanair flight RYR 1009 from City of Derry Airport to Birmingham operated by B737 EI-DHO diverted to Dublin after the aircraft suffered multiple bird strikes on departure from Derry. The aircraft made the landing at Dublin to enable Ryanair engineering staff assess the aircraft. A spokeswoman for City of Derry Airport said that no one was injured and that the passengers were transferred to another aircraft at Dublin which departed at approximately 15.00 utc.
