Ryanair announces 33rd base at Porto

Ryanair announced today that it was opening it's 33rd base at the northern Portuguese airport of Porto. The base will be established using two aircraft and four new routes will added bringing to 16 the total number of routes linking the airport which will now handle 50 Ryanair flights per day.
From September, the four new routes will link Porto with Eindhoven, Basel, St. Etienne and Tours. Frequency on Porto - Beauvais will double to two flights per day. Resulting from the expansion Ryanair predicts that it's traffic at Porto will increase to 1.5m per year.
Porto is currently linked to Girona, Birmingham, Bristol, Hahn, Liverpool, Stansted, Madrid, Bergamo, Marseille, Beauvais and Pisa.
