Whilst British registered helicopters are no stranger to Shannon, anything bigger than a Sikorsky 76 tends to rather rare, so today's visit by CHC Scotia's AS332L Super Puma is a little out of the ordinary. The chopper, registered G-PUMA is seen flying an approach along R24 this afternoon using call sign Helibus 039B, before touching down on Taxiway Alpha.
I have been interested in aircraft since I moved to Shannon in the mid seventies. Since then my interests have grown to include airplanes, airports, airways, airlines and photography. Hope you enjoy the Blog !
