Australian Cessna Mustang registered VH-EJT was a surprise visitor to Shannon this morning. The aircraft which is msn 510-0214 is operated by Maxem Aviation Pty Ltd and made a fuel stop before departing to Menorca on it's next leg. The hex code extracted from the Australian register sequence should be 7C1597 for -EJT but the aircraft was transmitting US hex code A4CA11 which corresponds to N40779.Pictured above, VH-EJT is seen taxiing for departure off R24.
