New reregistrations at Shannon
This week saw reregistrations of two of the current Shannon residents.
Tuesday September 23 saw VT-SGA B737-8GJ msn 34955 change registration to N249FD. The aircraft had arrived in full Spice Jet colours via Amman on September 3. It was subsequently painted all white at the Lufthansa Paint hangar and test flown on September 16 in the Indian registration.
Today, Friday September 26 saw former Silverjet B767-204 msn 24736 change registration in the early morning fog to JY-JAI of Jordan Aviation. The aircraft originally arrived in Shannon on July 4 following the collapse of Silverjet. The aircraft is still in full Silverjet colours with taped on Jordanian registration
