Ireland West Aviation is the name of a new helicopter pilot training school based at Ireland West Airport. The IAA approved facility which operates from Knock Airport Business Park specialises in Robinson R22 and R44 training. Founded by Chief Flying Instructor Capt. Joe Lally and backed by Castlebar business man Pat Staunton, the company commenced operations just before Christmas.
