Spanish Royals fly Ryanair

Queen Sofia of Spain has become one of the 60m or so people who can claim to be a Ryanair flier ! The 70 year old was in Santander last week when she received news that her brother the former King Constantine of Greece was to undergo emergency surgery in the UK so she booked a €15 flight to Stansted. It remains to be seen if Ryanair capitalise on the opportunity as there have been several notable incidents in recent year with politicians who have objected to their likeness being hijacked by the low cost carrier.
