Boeing strike bites harder at Ryanair
As the Boeing strike approaches it's fourth week, Ryanair today announced that they would be cancelling flights from their Birmingham and Weeze bases at the end of October. Over a five day period a total of 45 flights will be cancelled due to capacity shortfall.
At this time there doesn't appear to be any end in sight of the labour dispute at Boeing.
The LCC also announced today that they would be basing an additional two aircraft in Madrid from November which will create an additional 76 weekly rotations from the Spanish capital. Included in the increase is a doubling, to two flights per day on the Madrid - Dublin route.
