Tonight's Ryanair Shannon - Birmingham flight RYR 1312 operated by B737-8AS EI-DWS msn 33625 was struck by lightning very shortly after take off at approximately 20:05L. As a precaution the aircraft returned to the field where the fire and rescue services followed the aircraft on landing at approximately 20:25L. The aircraft departed a second time as RYR 3312 at approximately 21:15L
