Ryanair September passenger figures

Ryanair today issued their passenger statistics for September. The total number of passengers carried, 5.23m, represents a 20% YoY increase over the same month in 2007. The annualised figure to the end of September now stands at 56m. At 84%, load factor for the month shows a 1% dip over September 2007. The rolling 12 month figure to the end of September is 81%. When the passenger growth and load factor figures are superimposed it is very obvious that fleet growth is closely pegged to passenger growth in contrast to Aer Lingus where long haul fleet growth has outstripped customer demand.
