New parking management system at Shannon

German company Designa have been awarded a €750,000 contract to install new car and coach parking hardware and software at Shannon airport.

Designa staff have been on site at the airport since September working on the installation which is due to go live at the end of this month.

Installation of the new pay machines and access barriers commenced this week.
