Runway closure in Dublin

The Dublin Airport Authority announced today that the airport's R10/28 will be closed for five consecutive nights next week from Monday November 10 to Friday November 14 to facilitate the removal of rubber deposits on the runway surface.
For the duration of the works which will take place from 23.00 to 05.00 each night, R16/34 will be in operation. The DAA have advised that an increase in aircraft noise levels is possible in North Co. Dublin as a result and in South Co. Dublin under certain weather conditions.
A free phone helpline has been provided for insomniacs and serial complainers.
