Ryanair calls on Irish government to follow Belgium's lead on travel tax
Ryanair today called on the Irish government to follow the lead of the Belgian government which abandoned plans for a travel tax having considered the impact on the country's travel industry. Ryanair said at the very least the Irish government should restructure the tax so that it represented a percentage of the fare rather than a flat rate sum of €10.
